GAME ASSETS
Lonely Worlds produces Game Assets that will soon also be offered at the Unity Asset Store. We create buildings, robots, technical remains, game characters and statues. The buildings are fully accessible and the robots are equipped with an armature (bone structure) and come with basic animations.
The buildings ar modular. They consist of three floors: a ground floor, a second floor and a top floor. You can use the ‘second floor’ as often as you like (or just omit it), so you can vary several buildings of the same type in height. In Unity you also can change position or visibility of walls and other parts of a building. Moreover, the buildings are very suitable for setting up a large-scale arena, because they are full accessible and offer a lot of hiding spots and views in all directions.
The robots are fully rigged and comes with basic animations like ‘Idle’, ‘walk’, ‘walk backwards’ and some ‘fatal hit’ animations. Also included are animations of moving parts such as rotating optics or rotating saw blades. Additional desired movements, such as rotation and pointing of the turrets, are easy (and more efficient) to animate in Unity as the robots come with full bone structures. However, to make our robots perform more complicated actions, such as following, attacking or shooting the player, knowledge of scripting and how the ‘Animator’ in Unity works is necessary.
All of our Assets contain clear instructions and materials. You can easily replace these materials in Unity with materials that better match your intentions. Very handy, because this way your own signature gets all the space.
